🔧 How to Prepare for Your RR sonic OneBox Installation

🛠️ Ask Your Builder or Tradesperson to:

Run CAT6 cable throughout your property from all key locations, routing each cable back to a central point (this is where the OneBox will be mounted).

• Beside the main router position

• Behind every TV position
  
  

• Loft, especially near solar panels
  
  

• Near the heating system controls
  
  

• At Wi-Fi booster locations
  
  

• Hallway and top landing
  
  

• Living room, garage, and outbuildings
  
  

• All potential Ring Doorbell or intercom spots
  
  

• Alarm system main panel area
  
  

• Each planned CCTV camera location (run 1 x CAT6 per camera)
  
  

💡 Tip: We typically recommend 2 x CAT6 cables per key location to future-proof your setup.

🎯 Central Wiring Hub

Instruct your builder to choose a central point in the property (like an understairs cupboard, utility room, or secure cabinet space) where all CAT6 cables will return to. This is where the RRsonic OneBox will be installed.
